August 15, 2014

38 year old Ralph Nayokpuk was indicted yesterday for the August 6, 2014 murder of Ronald Mullins. Mullins was killed in the Mountain View home he shared with Nayokpuk and other family members. The Anchorage Police arrested Nayokpuk the day the murder occurred. His bail has been set at $500,000 plus a court-approved third party custodian.

Nayokpuk was indicted for one count of murder in the first degree and one count of murder in the second degree. He faces a sentence of up to 99 years under Alaska’s sentencing laws if convicted. Nayokpuk will be arraigned in Anchorage Superior Court on August 18, 2014.
