Murder Indictment for August 2015 Anchorage Homicide

May 5, 2016

On Wednesday, May 4, 2015, 29 year old Eagle River resident Jarre Lee was indicted for murder in the first degree and misconduct involving weapons in the third degree. Lee is charged with the intentional murder of 19 year old Preston Perdomo on August 3, 2015. Perdomo’s murder occurred in a residential neighborhood in the area of Muldoon Road and DeBarr Road in East Anchorage.

If convicted, Lee faces a sentence of up to 99 years in prison. Sentencing is determined by the court’s evaluation of the circumstances of the offense and the defendant.

Lee was arrested without incident on Thursday morning, May 5, 2016. His bail was previously set at $1,000,000 plus a court approved third party custodian by an Anchorage Superior Court Judge. Lee is expected to be arraigned in Anchorage Superior Court on Friday, May 6, 2016.
