Anchorage Massage Therapist Indicted on Sexual Assault Charges
September 16, 2016
(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) On Thursday, August 15, an Anchorage grand jury indicted 31 year old Christopher Allen Delamar with 2 counts of sexual assault in the first degree and 13 counts of sexual assault in the second degree.
The Anchorage Police Department Special Victims Unit began investigating Delamar in early August 2016 after a woman reported inappropriate contact during a massage she received from Delamar. The investigation led to several other victims who reported sexual contact during their massages dating as far back as February 2016.
Anyone with information about this case, including other potential victims should contact Detective Jeff Bell with the Anchorage Police Department at (907) 786-2411.
The original complaint was for three counts of harassment. Delamar was released on the prior harassment charges after posting $500 cash bail. Delamar is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court on Monday.
The charges in the indictment are only allegations and are not evidence of guilt. Delamar is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the prosecution must prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
