Petersburg Man Charged in 12-Count Indictment Alleging Possession of Child Pornography

(Juneau, AK)—As a result of an ongoing investigation by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation’s Technical Crimes Unit, Petersburg resident Kanin Robert Grant (a.k.a. “Robert Carle”) was indicted today by the Juneau Grand Jury and charged with twelve counts related to the possession of child pornography.
Grant faces a potential sentence of two to 99 years on each count should he be convicted. Grant is currently at large and a warrant has issued for his arrest. Grant was previously a resident of Citrus County Florida where he has outstanding warrants related to animal cruelty allegations.

The indictment by the Grand Jury is a charging document, and Grant is presumed innocent of all charges unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
