January 3, 2017

(Anchorage, AK) – Today, an Anchorage jury found 29 year old Julio Lopezleon guilty of violently sexually assaulting his wife over four days in 2013.  The jury verdicts come after 25 days of trial and extensive pretrial litigation. Superior Court Judge Kevin Saxby scheduled sentencing for April 23, 2017. Lopezleon faces a sentence range of 26 ¼ years to 99 years in prison because the jury found that his offenses were crimes of domestic violence.
