    On April 10, 2017, 42 year old Anchorage businessman Bart Green pled guilty to failure to pay rental car tax, a class C felony, as part of a plea agreement. Mr. Green operated Downtown Car Rental and 24 Hour Car Rental from 2004 to 2008.

    Attorney General Approves Sale of Tesoro Fuel Terminal to Petro Star
    Tesoro Alaska Petroleum Company has entered a purchase and sale agreement that will transfer ownership of Tesoro’s Terminal 1 at the Port of Anchorage to Petro Star, Inc. The State of Alaska required the sale of Terminal 1 in order to preserve competition in Alaska’s fuel market.

    Today, the State of Alaska filed suit against the United States to assert ownership of the land underlying portions of the Knik River. After failed attempts to have the federal government recognize the State’s ownership of the bed of this river, the State felt it had no option but to take the matter to court.
